Hamish Rayner is a Naarm / Melbourne-based Gaffer, an enthusiastic crew member, and a fiend for an on-set cuppa.

 

With over a hundred projects under his belt, Hamish has developed a large and varied skillset, both technical and creative, within the realm of film lighting.

 

Hamish has worked as a Gaffer on projects for the likes of Spotify, MECCA, Shell, digiDirect, Tint A Car, Starward Whiskey, La Trobe University, Deakin University and many more. 

 

From television commercials, short films, and music videos to feature films and long form narrative series, Hamish’s lighting style is always evolving to support the vision of the project at-hand. Whether cinematic or technical, at the heart of every scene he lights is Hamish’s signature intuitive and inventive practice.
